Day 1 – Petra

Arrive at Amman Airport or at the Jordanian side of the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge in Jordan (Note: Transfer from Jerusalem to Allenby Bridge is NOT INCLUDED*). Enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and meet your driver. Continue to Petra, dinner and overnight in Petra. (D)

Day 2: Petra

Today, discover a most unforgettable day in the “hidden” city of Petra. Meet your local guide on a tour into the “rose red” city. Travel on horseback or on foot to the awesome “Siq”, a winding canyon road. Continue by foot to visit one of Petra’s most impressive monuments, the Treasury, carved out of solid rock from the side of the mountain. Beyond the Treasury, you’ll discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers and water channels. After lunch, walk/ride back to the entrance of the site and on to your hotel. Balance of the afternoon at leisure. Evening: enjoy dinner at the “Petra Kitchen” including Jordanian cooking lesson. Day 3: Petra/Wadi Rum – En Route

Depart to Wadi Rum for a jeep tour led by your Bedouin driver in the area inspired the film “Lawrence of Arabia”. This enchanting desert is almost surreal with its distinctive beauty. Cross red sand dunes and explore the beautifully eroded pillars of sandstone rock known as “The Seven Pillars”. Enjoy an authentic Bedouin Lunch & Hospitality. Daylight time permitting, drive to Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land; enjoy the breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea (Note: Mt. Nebo will be visited on Day 1 en-route to Petra for those arriving early in the day. Extra supplement applies when opting for Private Guide.). Late afternoon, proceed to the airport in Amman (evening departures only) or to the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge for re-entry to Israel* (Allenby- King Hussein Bridge closes 11:30am Friday & Saturday). *Entering or Exiting Allenby-King Hussein Bridge: Transfer from Jerusalem to or from the Bridge by Private Car: $335 per car (1-5 persons).

Optional Exit at Arava (Eilat) can be arranged on Day 3 (without visit to Mt. Nebo). Transfer from Arava Crossing (Eilat) to hotels in Eilat or Ramon Airport: $115 per car (1-2 persons).

Tours Minimum 2 Nights: Visa will be secured on your behalf FREE OF CHARGE.

Tours Under 2 Nights: Visa cost is $75 per person to be prepaid (USA & Canadian Passport only; other passports please inquire).

**5 passengers in vehicle will utilize 10-person minibus on all tours.

ALL TOURS: All tours (unless otherwise indicated) are escorted by an English-Speaking driver only. Local, on-site guides are provided in Petra only (and Jerash if tour includes this visit). Rates are indicated above for adding a Private Guide throughout in your vehicle (recommended). Four or more passengers traveling together will have a PRIVATE GUIDE included throughout without any additional cost.

Border Crossing and Shuttle Fees are NOT included and must be paid locally (approximately $55-$85 per person).
