Day 1: Cairo / Alexandria

Meet your guide and depart Cairo by private car with driver. Arrive in Alexandria; drive along the dramatic 15-mile waterfront Corniche. Visit the Alexandria National Museum; stop at Pompey’s Pillar and the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa. After lunch, continue on to the Roman Amphitheatre and the Library of Alexandria, homage to its ancient namesake. Overnight in Alexandria. (L)

Day 2: Alexandria / Cairo

Morning visit the magnificent Montazah Palace Gardens and the Royal Jewelry Museum. Continue on to the Fort of Qaitbay, on the site of the ancient Pharos of Alexandria. Return to Cairo. (B)
